Juan grew up in a very poor family. At just 5 years old, he was introduced to drugs and alcohol and joined the cartel. He lived a life of violence and didn’t know the way out. He tried to escape lots of times but couldn’t. After his last suicide attempt, he was able to escape to the agricultural camps where he met Jesus after our weekly movie night. Now he helps with our children’s ministry and he is sharing his testimony with family and friends via social media. He goes door to door in our village sharing the life-transforming message of Jesus with his community, including the cartel, and everyone he meets along the way.
